​Lower Frankford Township has adopted Ordinance 2021-03 Regulating the Collection, Storage and Disposal of Garbage for Residential Properties on October 5, 2021.   Residents must complete the registration form to ensure that Southhampton Township has the correct information for service to begin at your property on February 3, 2022.

                                              All toters must to be out Wednesday evening for pickup Thursday

Residential garbage and recycling is collected once per week.  Trash must be completely bagged and in the trash toter. Trash will only be collected if in the toter.

Bag customers must use bags purchased from Lower Frankford Township or the Southampton Township Trash Office. It is not permissible to substitute any other trash bags.  Cost is $5 per bag.

Prohibited trash includes: 
  • Hot ashes or coals.
  • Hazardous waste (paints, oils, poisons, corrosives, batteries).
  • Concrete, rocks, large pieces of metal, tile, dirt
  • Tires, paint, and white goods
  • Grass clippings, shrubs, leaves, tree limbs
